Is Authentication Secure over FTPS connections?

Is the Authentication process always secure (encrypted) when using FTPS connections? 

Answer

Yes, WebDrive will send the AUTH TLS command before sending any credentials to the server when using FTP explicit mode. And in implicit FTPS mode a secure connection is made before any commands are sent.
