How To: Migrate Titan SFTP to New Server or VM

How can I migrate my Titan MFT to a New Server or VM?

Answer

Follow the below steps.

Pre-requisites

1. Target OS should have Titan SFTP installed.

2. Meet server system requirements - https://southrivertech.com/system-requirements/ 
3. Backup User Data directory and Database (C:\ProgramData\South River Technologies\srxserver\database)

Steps

1. Navigate to Domain >  Under Servers, below the Action column, click the 3 vertical dots > click Backup Server Config.
   
2. Once you have the *.nxcfg file, copy it and paste it to your New Server.
3. On your new server, go to Domain > click Import.
4. Select Server Type to import, choose Import from configuration file (.nxcfg) > click Browse, choose your backup > click Next
   
5. Choose Database Type
   
6. Enter your preferred Server Name > click Finish
   
   
   
7. Make sure that the server is running, if not click the 3 vertical dots and start the server 
   
   
   

*****Note: Make sure to deactivate the license from your old server and enable or enter it into your new server. Also to Stop the Titan SFTP service from your old server.
