How To Setup Remote Admin for Titan

How can I configure Remote Administration for Titan Server?

We want to manage the server remotely from another system.

You can easily configure your Titan Server for remote administration from another device using the steps below.

Steps
  1. Login to your Titan Administrator

  2. From the main page of the Titan Server Administrator, select the top-level Home option and then select the “Edit” icon to the far right for the Local Domain you have in Titan.

    1. From here, check the box for “Remote Admin” to enable this option. By default, this will be on Port 41443 and using the default Local Certificate.

    1. NOTE: Using the default certificate will cause a warning in the browser as the certificate is self-signed. You’ll want to go back out to the main Home option and choose the “Manage Certificates” option at the top right. Now, you can Import a proper TLS certificate for use.

    1. If using an imported TLS Certificate, go to the “Edit” icon for the Local Domain and then click the dropdown for the TLS Server Certificate to use for the Remote Admin (very bottom of the screen) and select the proper certificate.

    2. Ensure you open Port 41443 on your local server and any relevant firewalls.

    3. Open a browser and navigate to the designated URL and Port for your Remote Admin login and access.
