SharePoint (or other connection) Sync Speed Improvements

Issue: Is it possible to Improve Sync Times for SharePoint (or other connection) listings?

Solution: Yes, cache options can be configured to reduce amount of time between updates. However, note that the defaults are set as they are because SharePoint tends to throttle connections made using their API (unlike other server options).

1. In the main Settings for WebDrive, enable "Show all Settings".
2. Edit the settings for the site you've created within WebDrive and then select the "Cache Settings" dropdown.
3. Check the option for "Customize Cache Settings" and Uncheck the option for "Detect changes to cached files automatically"
4. Set as desired. Recommended would be something like "Compare to server copy" for cached files, and "Consider cached item stale based on time" for folders.
Set the time to maybe 20 or 30 seconds and see how that works in your environment.
Alternatively, lower the value as desired and still remaining efficient/usable in your specific environment.
