Titan Server: Data Exceeds Window Size

Question

The data exceeds window size.

Reasoning

Some SFTP clients may send more data than the server's "window size" can handle. If the client exceeds the server's capacity (e.g., 64K), the server disconnects the client. The client should ideally inquire about the server's capacity and send data accordingly.

Answer

The short answer will be to use a more compliant SFTP client. You can also manipulate this 'window’ size in Titan Server.

Pre-requisites

Compliant SFTP client - WinSCP

Steps
  1. Download and install WinSCP.

  2. Login to WinSCP using SFTP protocol.

  3. To adjust windows size, login to Titan Admin UI > go to Services > under Advanced section, find SSH Windows Size.
