WebDrive on Mac with Big Sur (or later) - System Extension Blocked - Enable Kernel Extensions

When using a new install of Big Sur (or later) for macOS, the security settings will require some configuring in order to get WebDrive to work. Apple has disabled system kernel extensions by default, and so they will need to be enabled.

You will see a popup notifying you that the system extension has been blocked. Choose to "Open System Preferences" and go to the Security and Privacy settings on your Mac, and click the padlock in the lower left of the screen. Choose to "Enable System Extensions".

Now, you'll need to reboot your computer and hold down the TouchID or Power button to enter the Startup Security Utility. Once there, enable kernel extensions from the Security Policy button.
